Sterling police to accept prescription drugs Saturday

STERLING – Consumers with unwanted or unused prescription drugs can drop them off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday inside the Sterling Police Department lobby, 212 Third Ave.

The collection is part of the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. In previous collections, the DEA and local, state, and tribal law enforcement agencies collected more than 2.8 million pounds of medication.
