Donations bring in huge revenue

YORK, Pa. – Bon-Ton, also known as Bergner’s, collected more than 2.5 million pounds of clothing and textiles donations to benefit Goodwill’s job training and employment services.

The donations have an estimated value of $10 million in revenue that will be used to fund local programs that help people find jobs and build their careers.

The Goodwill Sale was March 13-30. Customers were given a 25 percent coupon for each item donated.

Bergner’s and Good Will have stores in Sterling.
