Spring cantata planned this week in Morrison

MORRISON – Voices of Praise, a choir made up of Emmanuel Reformed Church's 60-voice Sanctuary Choir and other area church members, will perform the spring cantata "God's Been Good" Thursday, Friday, and Sunday at Emmanuel, 202 E. Morris St.

An offering will be accepted. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and music will start at 7. The cantata is for all ages, and the church is accessible to wheelchairs. Music from groups such as Legacy Five, the Hoppers, Cathedrals, Booth Brothers, Greater Vision, Karen Peck and New River and Gaither Vocal Band will be presented. Soloists Ed Pruis, Kyle McCoy, Tonia Ernst, Dennis VanZuiden, and Rich Criss will perform.

A fellowship hour will take place after the performance, presented by the women of Emmanuel. A free shuttle bus will be provided for 1 hour before and after the cantata. Riders will be picked up at the Ebenezer Reformed Church parking lot, 309 E. Park St., then dropped off at the curb in front of Emmanuel.
