POCAHONTAS – Kraig S. Hudson, 64, of Pocahontas, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home.

Kraig was born Oct. 20, 1949, in Dixon, to James and Eleanor (Lyons) Hudson. He married Wanda Elling on Jan. 4, 1980, in Edwardsville. He was a retired laborer and member of Laborers Local 397 in Edwardsville. He also was a member of the Bond County Board of Review.

Survivors include his wife of Pocahontas; his sons, Nicholas Hudson of Glen Carbon and Tyler Hudson of Pocahontas; his brothers and sisters, Kirk Hudson and Keane (Sally) Hudson, both of Dixon, Kandys (Harold) Queisser of Coronado, Calif., and Krystal Pennington of Warrenville; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Tom Elling of Centralia, Lloyd Elling of Sidney, British Columbia, Canada, Lois (George) Zollner of Breese, Lyle (Janet) Elling of Trenton, Ellen (Rick) Isert of Highland, Bob Elling of Breese, and Walter Francis Elling of Philadelphia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his half brother, Kelly Kappler; and his half sister, Charlee Ruhe.

There will be no services. Moss Funeral Home in Breese is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, in care of Moss Funeral Home, 535 N, Fifth St., Breese, IL 62230.
