LYNDON – Wanda L. Francis, 68, of Lyndon, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at her home.

Wanda was born Jan. 31, 1946, in Sterling, to Lyle S. and Grace (Wuebben) Finley. She married Arman D. Francis on Nov. 21, 1964, in Sterling. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1991. Wanda worked as an assembler at Sterling Multi Products Inc. for 30 years before retirement. She also was the village treasurer in Lyndon for 11 years. Wanda enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and her family.

Survivors include her stepmother, Ruth Finley of Rock Falls; two daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Stuart of Morrison and Lori (Dan) Davis of Lyndon; one sister, Ruthann Johnson of Houston; four grandchildren, Mitchell (Alexis Masse) Schaller, Jordan Schaller, Kyle Stuart, and Jenessa (Matt Anderson) Davis; and one great-grandchild, Karson Anderson.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in infancy.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and the funeral at 1 p.m Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown, with the Rev. Cheri Stewart officiating. Burial will be at Lyndon Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
