Kinzinger to visit Woods to promote U.S. jobs

OREGON – U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger will be at Woods Equipment Co. on Wednesday to highlight the I Make America initiative.

The public can visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woods, 2606 State Route 2. Kinzinger, whose district includes Lee and Ogle counties, will tour the facility, address employees, and sign up to support I Make America. According to a news release, the initiative's supporters advocate pro-manufacturing policies to create more jobs in the U.S. and keep the economy competitive with other countries.

From 10 to 11 a.m., a 2014 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle will be displayed inside a truck with glass sides. Registration will continue through Oct. 3 to win the motorcycle. Visit www.IMakeAmerica.com to sign up or for more information.
