Gardening series continues

OREGON – The University of Illinois Four Seasons Gardening program, continues with Pest Control Strategies in the Garden.

The program will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and again at 6:30 p.m. Thursday via teleconference at the Ogle County Extension office, 421 W. Pines Road.

Many weeds, insects, and diseases in yards, attack lawns, flowers, trees, vegetables, and fruits. This program will help decide the best options for managing those pests that seem to zero in on landscape favorites, while protecting the environment.

The cost is $5 per session. Registration is due by Monday to ensure adequate space and materials.

Sessions may be cancelled for insufficient registration.
