Man found dead in state park fell to his death

KANKAKEE (AP) — An autopsy shows a 40-year-old man whose body was found in a northern Illinois state park fell to his death, falling more than 35 feet to the ground.

The (Kankakee) Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/ODkYCJ ) final results of the autopsy on Joel Brueggert won't be available until toxicology tests are completed.

The Herscher resident's body was found Monday afternoon in Kankakee River State Park near a creek by the park's main entrance.

An autopsy was performed Tuesday.
