Farmers market sign-up underway

MORRISON – Vendors, organizations, entertainers, and musicians are sought for the weekly farmers’ market.

This year’s market will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. rain or shine, May 24 through Sept. 27, behind the Whiteside County Court Services building, 204 E. Lincolnway. There also will be a market from 5 to 8 p.m. July 30.

All dairy, meat, poultry, eggs, and food vendors must be in compliance with any governmental regulations, have acquired all necessary licenses and permits, and furnish copies to the market committee before selling their wares.
