Public comments sought for plan

ROCK FALLS – The Blackhawk Hills Regional Council has posted the draft of its 5-year Regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy plan on its website.

Go to www.blackhawkhills.com to view the information. A hardcopy of the report also may be viewed upon request at the regional council’s office, 102 E. U.S. Route 30.

Comments and suggestions will be accepted until April 29, when the final edits will be made, approved by the Blackhawk Hills Council, and submitted to the Economic Development Administration regional office in Chicago.

BHRC services include community planning, development assistance, natural resources conservation and protection support, and grant writing and administration in Carroll, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, and Whiteside counties.
