Area students to show art in Freeport

FREEPORT — Art by students from West Carroll School District and other Freeport area schools will be shown at the Freeport Art Museum’s Aspiring Artists Student Exhibition.

The display, which features paintings, drawings, and sculpture, will be open through May 17. The museum’s hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday at 121 N. Harlem Ave.

Admission is free; donations will be accepted.
