Daniel Palumbo, 24, of Rock Falls; 12:35 p.m. Friday; driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle; given notice to appear in court.

Dixon Police

Sharon G. Hensley, 33, no permanent address; 9:32 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of West Seventh Street; Ogle County warrant for speeding; taken to Lee County Jail.

Ogle County Sheriff

Eugene J. Dzwierzynski, 53, of Oregon; 11:51 p.m. Sunday on state Route 2; driving under the influence; taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Harley Yanez, 20, of Rockford; Friday; warrant for failure to appear; given notice to appear in court.

Silvia Lozano, 50, of Rockford; Friday; warrant for failure to appear; posted $341 bond and has no further court appearances.

Jeffrey Barker, 36, of Rochelle; 4:59 p.m. Friday at Flagg and Daysville roads; driving while license suspended, no insurance; taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

One hurt in two-vehicle accident Saturday

OGLE COUNTY – A Rochelle woman received minor injuries Friday in a two-vehicle accident on state Route 38.

Ogle County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene at 5:18 a.m. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Marion Springs, 60, of Rochelle, was stalled on Route 38 because of mechanical problems. An eastbound vehicle driven by Jessica Dunkin, 29, also of Rochelle, struck Spriggs' vehicle.

Dunkin was injured in the crash. She was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle ambulance. Her condition was unavailable Monday. Spriggs was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
