DIXON – Richard D. “Rick” Reuter, 61, of Dixon, died Friday April 4, 2014, at his home. 

He was born Jan. 31, 1953, in Dixon, the son of Ambrose and Marjorie (Foster) Reuter.  He had worked for Reuter Wrecker Service for 36 years, then Weigle Automotive and A1 Cartage prior to retirement. He was a member of the Dixon Elks Lodge and AMBUCS.

He is survived by his father, Ambrose (Lorene) Reuter Sr. of Dixon; brothers, Ambrose Reuter Jr.,  Dennis Reuter, and Jeffrey Reuter all of Dixon; Randall (Cindy) Reuter of Oregon; and sister, Lisa (Paul) Grobe of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. A memorial has been established to DaVita Kidney Center.
