Quilt finishing part of program

FORRESTON – Terri Linder with the Stitching on State store in Hampshire will speak Monday to the Country Crossroads Quilt Guild at Forreston Grove Church, 7246 Freeport Road.

Activities will start with a potluck at 5:30 p.m. and warmups at 6:30. Linder’s program is called “The Finished Edge.” She will share ways to end quilts. Guests can attend for $5.

Before the meeting, Linder will give a workshop on pineapple ruler quilts at 9:30 a.m. Registration is required; call Diane Lohr at 815-335-4044 to sign up, for costs, and ruler details.
