Plans underway to attend conference

STERLING – The Whiteside County Genealogists will meet at 9 a.m. Friday in the Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce meeting room, 211 Locust St.

During the gathering, the group will tackle a new project – to plan a display table for the 40th annual Quad City Genealogical Conference on April 26. The display will highlight past accomplishments, ongoing projects, and upcoming events. Members also will choose a door prize to be awarded that day.

Those interested in the conference or who need help with family research are welcome to attend.
