MORRISON – Rena Zuidema, 93, of Four Seasons Living Center in Morrison, died Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Morrison Community Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1920, in Morrison, to Jordan and Anna (Kuehl) Wiebenga. She married Kenneth D. Zuidema on July 9, 1938, in Clinton, Iowa. He died on Dec. 9, 1981.

They farmed in rural Morrison; she was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church.

Survivors include daughters Barb Belha of Morrison and Sharon Swanson of Sugar Grove; sons Harvey (Karen) Zuidema and Kent (Karen) Zuidema, both of Morrison; brothers Loren (Suzie) Wiebenga, of Clinton, Iowa and Robert (Lois) Wiebenga and Gerald (Diane) Wiebenga, both of Morrison; 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a grandaughter and brothers Donald, Marvin, and Arnold Wiebenga.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Ken Renkes, director of congregational care at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Living Center and Ebenezer Reformed Church.
