PALATINE (AP) – A judge has ordered a 17-year-old boy held without bond on charges he killed a father and son in the Chicago suburb of Palatine.

The boy appeared in bond court Friday. Cook County prosecutors accuse him of shooting and killing 38-year-old Segundo Reynoso and 15-year-old Luis Reynoso. Police found the victims dead on the floor of an apartment early Wednesday. Police and prosecutors say the boy and the 15-year-old victim were members of the same street gang.

Autopsies on Thursday found that the father was shot in the face and the son suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
