LaSalle woman injured in Saturday crash

OGLE COUNTY – A LaSalle woman was hurt Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 39 in Ogle County.

State police responded to the scene at 4:15 p.m. An investigation revealed that an unknown silver vehicle and vehicle driven by Gloria Sanchez, 57, were southbound on Interstate 39 when the silver vehicle changed lane and cut off Sanchez.

Sanchez swerved to avoid colliding with the silver vehicle. Her vehicle entered the center median, where Sanchez overcorrected, and the vehicle crossed back into the west ditch before coming to rest on the passenger side. Sanchez was taken by Rochelle Ambulance for minor injuries.
