One injured in

single-vehicle crash

OGLE COUNTY – A Rochelle man was injured Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on East Holcomb Road in Stillman Valley.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 1:20 p.m. An investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Octavio Perez, 51, was westbound when it entered the north ditch and continued for about 200 feet. The truck then struck a cement culvert before it overturned onto the passenger side.

Perez refused medical attention. Lynn Scott Rock and Stillman Valley fire departments helped deputies.
