Dan Rutherford has served our state as an elected official admirably. I voted for him in 2006, during his run for secretary of state, and again in 2010 to serve as our state’s treasurer.
I believe Dan to be one of the most honorable, respectful men to ever serve in government – he epitomizes true public service.
During his tenure as treasurer, he reduced his office budget by 10 percent and eliminated six satellite offices. A true fiscal conservative with more than 25 years of business experience, Dan is the only candidate with the ability to rein in the bloated Illinois bureaucracy.
I’ve always been impressed with Dan’s compassion and dedication toward our elderly, especially those in nursing homes. No other candidate possesses his ability to work with people of all walks of life.
I am proud to know Dan Rutherford and will cast my ballot for him on March 18, and hope others give him their consideration, as well.
