Kyle Sinn, 17, of Sterling, is one of Sterling High School's February Students of the Month. He plans to attend Marquette University, in Milwaukee, Wis., to study accounting and political science.

Kyle Sinn, 17, of Sterling, is one of Sterling High School’s February Students of the Month. He is the son of Tracy and Doug Gamm, and has two sisters, Macie Sinn, 21, attending the University of Illinois in Champaign, and Callie Sinn, 19, attending Marquette University in Milwaukee.

Favorite class: Publications. I love working on the yearbook, and I love the people in the class.

Top teacher: Mrs. Drew, publications, and Ms. Johnson, English 103. They both have somehow fixed my commas, and that was a challenge.

Extracurriculars: National Honor Society, golf, track and field, Junior Rotarians, Illinois State Scholars.

After graduation: I’m going to Marquette University to study accounting and political science.

Paycheck: At the Fun Jump. I love it! I love working with kids.

Best friend: Paige Thuente. She’s the bomb.com.

Favorite singer: Luke Bryan

Favorite actor: Will Ferrell

Favorite TV show: “The League”

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, boating, and long walks on the beach

Favorite game: Basketball

Favorite food: Steak

Biggest fear: Being a failure

What makes your blood boil? When people smack their food

What kind of music makes your skin crawl? Yodeling

Hangouts: The golf course, weight room, anywhere with friends. I like to be social.

Key to surviving high school: Don’t let anything get you. Just brush it off.

Useless knowledge: Algebra

I’m in the dictionary next to: Weird. Or OCD. I have some weird OCD habits.

Secret twin: Everyone says I look like Snoopy, but I don’t see it.

Personal trivia: I’m confused by this question, if that tells you anything.

Dream job: President of the United States.

Trading places: With any one of the Robertsons from “Duck Dynasty;” they live the most American, perfect life.

Trading spaces: I would go to the White House. It would be neat to meet everyone that works there .... even Obama.
