Job preparation course available

STERLING – Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living will offer a 4-week job preparation course.

The course is designed to take the participants through the process of seeking a job and capturing it.

Two time slots are available, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. or from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Classes will be on Wednesdays from March 26 though April 16.

The topics will include the challenges of today’s job market, how to seek the right position, and techniques for successful interviews.

The course is free for NICIL customers and $15 for the public.

Space is limited; registration is required.
