Choir performance planned in Dixon

DIXON – The Dixon High School choral department will present its annual Mid-Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school auditorium, 300 Lincoln Statue Dr.

The high school’s concert choir, jazz choir and honors choir will perform. The seniors will be honored for their years of service, and the students and audience are invited to attend a reception in the seniors’ honor immediately following the concert.

The concert will feature a variety of music, including music of the Classical area, American folk tunes, and a full department prelude to begin the evening.

The public is invited to this free performance. Donation cans will be displayed, with proceeds going to the school’s choir program.
