The farm store held an open house at their Polo location Tuesday as part of the company’s 60th anniversary and the Birkey’s 60 Day Hunger Drive. Birkey’s has pledged to raise $100,000 for local food banks. Customers who donated $10 or more earned entries into a drawing for a restored 1954 Farmall Super MTA tractor. The Polo FFA assisted with the event. Vendors selling products at Birkey’s were on hand to talk about their products and provide informational fliers to the customers.
