Vote Rock for state’s attorney

I endorse and will vote for Mike Rock on March 18. Ogle County State’s Attorney Mike Rock is the only candidate with proven prosecutorial experience, demonstrated leadership, and integrity. There is no other candidate than Rock.

The facts about Mike Rock:

Current state’s attorney – Rock, yes; Rick Morrow, no.

More than 9 years of experience with state’s attorney office – Rock, yes; Morrow, no.

Experienced prosecutor – Rock, yes; Morrow, no.

Prosecuted drug cases – Rock, yes; Morrow, no.

Prosecuted murder cases – Rock, yes; Morrow, no.

Rock has trial experience through more than 30 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. For Morrow, I could find only two jury trials, and I don’t know of any bench trials he has done.

Rock is a supporter of the Second Amendment, concealed carry, and office automation. He is a fair but firm prosecutor who believes in seeking stiff penalties for violent and repeat offenders while also utilizing diversion programs when appropriate.

Rock believes that “family, faith, safe neighborhoods, good schools, and a strong community are important to everyone.”

Mike Rock, Ogle County state’s attorney – there is no other candidate. Vote Rock March 18.

Note to readers: Patricia Nordman is an Ogle County Board member who represents District 2.
