Gourd art program planned in Oregon

OREGON – A free gourd art demonstration will take place at 10 a.m. March 8 at the Eagle’s Nest Art Group studio at Conover Square Mall, 201 N. Third St.

The studio is on the second floor of the mall. Carrie Lay, a former art teacher, will present information on how to paint and prepare gourds and discuss the use of woodburning in her work.
