PEORIA (AP) — A trial for a Peoria man accused of killing his wife on Valentine's Day of last year has been delayed.

The Journal Star (http://bit.ly/MoWrQN) reports that 38-year-old Nathan Leuthold's murder trial was rescheduled Monday for May 5. It was to have begun March 10.

Leuthold has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the Feb. 14, 2013, death of Denise Leuthold.

Authorities accuse him of staging a break-in at their home and shooting the woman to death.

Nathan Leuthold is jailed on $2 million bond.
