Farm comedian to headline meal

MORRISON – The 53rd annual Whiteside County Cattleman’s Association spring banquet will be March 22 at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Ave.

Jerry Carroll, a farmer and comedian, will provide entertainment. Dinner will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with the program at 7:15 p.m. The main course will be roast beef.

Scholarships and awards will be presented after the program.

Carroll grew up farming, and started in comedy in 1993. He has opened for various musicians, and performed in venues from local banquets to a provincial government in Canada.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12.
