Two hurt Tuesday in 2-vehicle crash

TAMPICO – Two women were injured Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash on Tampico Road a quarter-mile south of Arch Road.

Illinois State Police troopers responded to the scene at 2:51 p.m. An SUV driven by Cheryl M. Foley, 42, of Deer Grove, was southbound on Tampico Road when it struck a snow embankment in the roadway. The vehicle rolled, coming to a rest on its wheels in the roadway.

Foley and a passenger in her vehicle, Jessica F. Spruill, 27, of Tampico, were taken to CGH Medical Center by Tampico ambulance. Both were treated and released.
