PARK RIDGE (AP) — Police in suburban Chicago say they've found a 5-year-old boy who was sleeping in a car that authorities say was stolen.

Park Ridge police had issued an Amber Alert for the boy on Thursday afternoon. They said Drake Whitaker was sleeping in the back of the white 2012 Audi Q5 when someone stole the car at about 12:20 p.m.

Police said they found the boy unharmed in the missing vehicle, which was parked in a residential neighborhood in Skokie.
