New display opens at museum

BYRON – An open house is planned for 5-8 p.m. March 14 to unveil Byron Museum of History’s new agriculture exhibit at 110 Union St.

The public is welcome; entertainment and refreshments will be provided. Museum admission is free.

The museum also offers free guided tours of its facility for school and community groups. The hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, or by appointment.

Exhibits include the Underground Railroad, Byron Veterans, Byron Business, Outhouses, and A.G. Spalding. Teaching guides and activity materials also are available.
