One injured in Saturday crash

OGLE COUNTY – A Stillman Valley woman received minor injuries Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on state Route 72 East.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 6:24 p.m. An investigation revealed that an eastbound 2000 GMC SUV driven by Maureen Hannon, 59, skidded off the south side of the road and struck a tree.

Hannon was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital by Stillman Valley Fire Department ambulance. Her condition was unavailable Monday.
