Strikers’ cars interfere with snow removal

Published: Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 1:15 a.m. CST

I’d rather shovel snow than mow a lawn. But, Bay Valley Foods has a strike going on.

People picketing. Possibly, all night? Not sure, I go to bed early.

Two vehicles had been parked against a mound of snow. When the snowplow came, it couldn’t complete its swipe. The blade left chunks of snow at the end of my drives.

Oh, brother. Talk about hard to remove. I guess after doing snow removal for some 48 years, I have a system. Here’s hoping the strikers get close to what they need to end this park “close” thing.
