Club members discuss activities

SAVANNA – The Savanna Smiles 4-H club met Dec. 8 at the Community Church in Savanna.

The members discussed enrollment and the November community-wide cleanup. There were no talks or demonstrations.

The club also met Jan. 20 and Feb. 9.

Anniversary party open to the public

MOUNT CARROLL – All volunteers involved in the Carroll County University of Illinois Extension are welcome to the 100th-year celebration and volunteer banquet Friday at Henry’s Double K, 834 S. Jackson St.

Social time will start at 6 p.m., with the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.

There also will be games, a disc jockey, dancing, door prizes, and a dessert auction by the Carroll County 4-H Foundation.
