Armed robber still at large; tips coming in

Police still are looking for information on a robber who displayed a handgun at Casey's General Store before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash around 2 a.m. Jan. 25.

DIXON – Dixon police have been following up on tips but still are looking for the person who used a handgun to rob Casey’s General Store, 1401 W. Fourth St., around 2 a.m. Jan. 25.

The robber was dressed from head to foot and wore a mask or scarf, making it impossible to determine his or her gender. Police are looking for someone about 5 feet tall who was wearing athletic pants with white stripping down the legs, a dark-colored sweatshirt or coat and hood and gloves.
