One injured in two-vehicle crash Wednesday

OGLE COUNTY – A Waterman woman was hurt Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 39 in Ogle County.

State police responded to the scene at 7:38 a.m. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Shannon D. Woodham, 26, of DeKalb, was northbound in the passing lane on Interstate 39 when an unidentified semi changed lanes, striking Woodham’s vehicle. Her vehicle came to rest in the median, while the semi continued northbound without stopping.

Woodham was uninjured. A passenger in her vehicle, Lyne A. Meyerholz, 39, was taken to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford by Monroe Center ambulance. Meyerholz’s condition was unavailable Thursday.
