ROCK FALLS –  Vickie Insley, 61, of Rock Falls, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Vickie was born May 18, 1952, in Sterling, the daughter of Gerald and Marilyn (Hall) Insley. She graduated from Rock Falls High School in 1970. She was a business office manager for 25 years at Rock Falls Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Vickie enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.

Survivors include one son, Brian (Robin) Insley of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Alicia, Brianna, and Hailee Insley, all of Bloomington; two brothers, Charles (Lynda) Insley of Hamilton, Ohio, and Mike (Kathy) Insley of Rock Falls; one sister, Michelle Hanson, her stepmother, Sue Insley, her stepfather, Robert Metze, and her lifelong friend, Linda Smith, all of Rock Falls; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 506 Fifth Ave., Rock Falls. McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls is handling arrangements.
