Breakfast money helps vets’ flight

DIXON – Lee County Honor Flight members will have a fundraiser breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at Dixon Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1560 Franklin Grove Road.

The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 12, and free for those younger than 5. All proceeds will be used to send World War II and Korean War veterans from Lee County on Honor Flights this year. The cost to send each veteran is $500.

Those who cannot attend the breakfast can send donations to LCHF, c/o Rich Sanders, P.O. Box 986, Dixon, IL 61021, or call 815-288-5683 weekdays.
