Two arrests made in marijuana investigation

DIXON – Two men were arrested this week as part of a Dixon Police Department investigation into marijuana trafficking.

Noah J. Braker, 18, of Rock Falls, was arrested Tuesday, and Mark A. Ballotti, 31, of Dixon, was arrested Monday. Both were charged with unlawful delivery of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis.

Police say that the two sold more than 10 grams, but less than 30 grams, of marijuana on separate occassions in December.

Both men were taken to Lee County Jail.

Ballotti’s bond was set at $10,000, which he was able to post.

Braker’s bond was set at $5,000, which he was unable to post.

According to a news release, the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are pending.
