State Police

Timothy I. Theis, 32, of Sun Prairie, Wis.; 8:08 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 39 in Ogle County; driving while revoked; issued individual bond and given notice to appear in court.

Kori L. Dean, 44, of Rock Falls; 9:56 p.m. Saturday at Dixon Avenue and McNeil Road in Whiteside County; driving under the influence, speeding; posted driver’s license and $100 bond, given notice to appear in court.

Two hurt Sunday in two-vehicle crash

WHITESIDE COUNTY – Two people were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 88 in Whiteside County.

State police responded to the scene at 9:20 p.m. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Albert G. Fetting, 42, of Clinton, Wis., was westbound when it struck the rear of a vehicle stopped in the left lane, driven by Monte L. Wagner, 45, of Rockford. Both drivers were taken to CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Wagner was treated and released. Fetting was in stable condition Tuesday afternoon.

One hospitalized after local crash

STERLING – One person was taken Tuesday to CGH Medical Center in Sterling after a two-vehicle crash on the First Avenue Bridge.

Sterling police responded to the scene at 8:32 a.m. A Ford Explorer driven by Joyce L. Dall, 53, of Rock Falls, was southbound on the bridge when Dall lost control on an icy surface and slid into the northbound lane. Her vehicle struck a northbound Dodge Dart driven by Christopher M. Miller, 30, of Rock Falls.

Miller was taken by private vehicle to CGH, where he was treated and released. Dall was cited on a charge of driving too fast for conditions and given a notice to appear in court.
