Supply Closet looks ahead to aiding students

Published: Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 1:15 a.m. CDT

The Trinity School Supply Closet is beginning to prepare for the 2014-15 school year. We served about 800 students during August 2013 and anticipate that number increasing by at least half again in the fall of 2014.

We provide service to students from pre-school through college within a 50-mile radius of Sterling-Rock Falls. All supplies are provided through personal and corporate donations along with available grants. All help is volunteer.

Our hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. We are located at 910 Second Ave., Sterling. Any questions may be answered by calling 815-441-1988 or 815-441-8652.

We not only want to make the students aware of this opportunity, but we also want to make everyone aware of the great opportunity placed before you to help with donations of cash or supplies.

We are looking at a $10,000 budget for the 2014-15 school year; therefore, your help is greatly appreciated. Please prayerfully consider helping if you are able.
