CHICAGO – James Jack of Chicago, longtime resident of Dixon, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. He courageously fought illnesses for many years, never losing his zeal or faith.

James had a big heart and loved to help everyone. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all. The world is a better place for having him here for 73 years.

The life of James Jack will be celebrated in a memorial service in the spring of April 2014 in Dixon. There will be no other services until that time, as requested by Diantha Jack, his wife.
