Dixon school plans annual auction, 50th anniversary

DIXON – St. Anne School’s 24th annual auction will be Feb. 1 at the Dixon Elks Lodge, 1279 Franklin Grove Road.

Doors will open at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. A dessert auction and silent auction will end at 7 p.m., and a live auction will start at 7:30 p.m. Live auction items include an Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Kindle Fire HDX, and nine class baskets. Certificates, services, and products from local businesses will make up the silent auction, while local bakers will provide items for the dessert auction. Those wishing to come to the auction can attend at no cost, and sign in at the door to get a paddle number.

Meal tickets are $35, and include baked chicken, au gratin potatoes, green beans, and a salad bar. Tickets are available only at the school. Tables can be reserved at no additional cost at the school office, and seat eight to 10 people. Call the school at 815-288-5619 for more information.
