Teams sought for center fundraiser

OREGON – Oak Lane, 2735 Snyder Road, will present “What’s Cookin’ 2014,” a fundraiser for Rock River Center at 5 p.m. March 29.

A maximum of 35 teams of four will prepare a food item in one of four categories: appetizer, entrée, side dish, or dessert. Organizers, Joyce Bruns and Diane Palmer, encourage participation from all Ogle County communities, as the center provides services to the entire county.

Team sign-up is underway. There is no charge to take part.

Admission for the public is $20 per person, includes the opportunity to taste-test the food.
