Byron preserve selling photo book

BYRON – Advance orders are being taken until Jan. 30 for a new book of wildlife and landscape photographs taken in the Byron Forest Preserve District.

Gary Gullett, a Byron native and wildlife photographer, took the photos. The book can be ordered for $12 before Jan. 30 by calling the forest preserve at 815-234-8535. Pre-ordered books can be picked up at the preserve, 7993 N. River Road, or they can be mailed.

After Jan. 30, books will cost $15, and can be bought at the preserve or at Severson Dells Nature Center, 8786 Montague Road, Rockford.

Some of the images in the book are on display at the preserve’s Jarrett Prairie Center and PrairieView Golf Club.
