ROCK FALLS – Brenda D. Williams, 66, of Rock Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at Prophets Good Samaritan Home in Prophetstown, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 28, 1947, in Centralia, she was a daughter of Donald and Flora (Marcum) Henson. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, and watching TV.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughters, Trisha (John Pope) Meyer of Rock Falls, Shelly Karrow of Dixon, Kelly (Curt) Pickens of Sterling, Trina (Patrick) Stramka of Sterling, and Janie (Jason) Schlesener of Fulton; a son, Jamie Williams of Sterling; sisters, Wanda Richards of Chesapeake Bay, Va., Wennona Bell (David Crow) of Sterling, and Faye Moreland of Vandalia; a brother, Danny (Clarice) Henson of Sterling; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Charles, James, and Leslie.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday and the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks, pastor of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, officiating.

A memorial has been established.
