Voters sought for officer elections

AMBOY – The Lee County Soil and Water Conservation District’s annual election of directors will be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the LCSWCD office, 319 S. Mason Ave.

Three directors will be elected to serve a 2-year term on the LCSWCD Board.

All people, firms, or corporations who hold legal title, or who are in legal possession of any land lying within the boundaries of the district, are eligible to vote as a lessee, renter, tenant, or otherwise.

Absentee ballots can be requested beginning Wednesday. The must be completed by Feb. 7.
