SPRINGFIELD (AP) — Illinois snowplow drivers are working around the clock and at least one worker says he's the busiest he's been in almost three decades.

The (Springfield) State Journal-Register reports ( ) road crews in Illinois have been out since Sunday morning.

Bob Freitag owns Mr. Frosty Snow Removal & Affordable Lawn Care in Springfield. He says he expects to be working at least until Wednesday and says he's never spent so much time behind the wheel of his snowplow in 28 years in business.

Guy Taylor owns Good Guys Snow Removal in Springfield. He said he expects to spend the next several days clearing snow away from vehicles that were buried after more than a foot of snow fell.

Still, Taylor and Freitag say the snow is good for business.
