Schultheis, 29, no permanent address; 4:16 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of state Route 2 in Dixon; Lee County warrant for violation of drug court, Whiteside County warrant for application to increase bond – burglary, Ogle County warrant for failure to appear – retail theft; taken to Lee County Jail.

Edward A. Martin Jr., 25, of Dixon; 3:24 a.m. Monday on West Fourth Street; state Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation; taken to Lee County Jail.

Rock Falls Police

William Johnson, 45, of Rock Falls; 4:12 p.m. Dec. 30; Lee County warrant, Whiteside County warrant; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Shanda Knutson, 44, of Sterling; 12:40 a.m. Sunday; driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying stop sign, improper lane usage, no valid registration; posted bond and was released.

Danielle Volkmann, 30, of Rock Falls; 2:43 p.m. Friday; Whiteside County warrant for obstructing a court order; posted bond and was released.

Jesse Russell, 18, of Rock Falls; 3:33 p.m. Thursday; juvenile warrant; held at juvenile facility.

Lee County Sheriff

Steven Lee Smice, 39, of Mount Morris; 3:30 p.m. Sunday; warrant for contempt – non-payment of fine, Rockford Police Department warrant for failure to appear – battery; held at Lee County Jail.

Ogle County Sheriff

Thomas Scheele, 53, of Rochelle; 2:30 a.m. Saturday on South Woodlawn Road; violation of order of protection, outstanding warrant for Fulton County; taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

State Police

Arturo Estitia-Ortiz, 28, of Waukegan; 4:09 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 39 in Ogle County; no valid driver’s license; issued individual bond and given notice to appear in court.

Alexander M. Call, 19, of Roberts, Wis.; 8:22 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 39 in Ogle County; improper lane usage; issued citation.

3 hurt in rollover crash Sunday

OGLE COUNTY – Three people were injured Sunday in a single-vehicle rollover on Interstate 39.

State police investigated the incident at 4:29 p.m. An investigation revealed that a vehicle driven by Madeleine Budil, 19, of Oak Forest, was southbound on Interstate 39 when Budil lost control. Her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, rolling several times before coming to rest in the center median.

Linn-Scott-Rock Fire personnel took Budil and two passengers in her vehicle, Mitchell C. Budil, 17, and Brittany M. Schramm, 17, to Rochelle Community Hospital. Their conditions were unavailable Monday. All three were wearing seat belts. Madeleine Budil was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
