Frankie Hartsfield

STERLING – Frankie Lucille Hartsfield, 88, of Sterling, died Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling. She had been a beautician at B-Lov-Le Beauty Salon in Sterling for many years.

Frankie was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Ozark, Alaska, the daughter of Robert and Thelma Perkins Snider. She married Halton Hartsfield on June 27, 1942, in Mansfield, Alaska. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Rock Falls. 

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Edna (Frank) Miller of Rock Falls and Irene (Richard) Hill of Vero Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday and the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berean Baptist Church, with Roger Carlson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established to Berean Baptist Church.
